So I was downstairs cooking food and suddenly an idea struck me
It started as a funny joke but then I got to thinking about it
What if Dan Harmon joined the TLOK writing crew for Season 2?
I know. Ridiculous right? He started on the Sarah Silverman Show, might be getting hired for an Adult Swim show, and had some pretty outlandish stuff on Channel 101.
But hear me out.
Community is pretty kid friendly and he also did some work for Monster House. He’s not totally unqualified for this.
And the thing the really sold me was the fact that the weakest part of TLOK is Mako. The reason why Mako is bad is because of the writing. The reason the writing for mako is bad is because he just doesn’t face any consequences for his wrong doings. And, in my opinion, DAN IS PERFECT FOR THAT.
Dan mentioned in the 2012 Paleyfest how Community’s third season is the dark season where everyone faces the consequences of being in a group and being tied to relationships that will last forever. He does a great job of having things kind of bite the character’s in the ass due to their faults. My favorite by far is Abed’s journey. In the first two seasons, we’re so used to him being cool, collected and always being so put together. But he kind of falls apart in season three. I think it’s a really great handling of a character and a good dynamic that Dan could bring to the TLOK team.
Well, I’m just suffering from a delusion. I know it won’t happen. But oh the possibilities if it did.

That… would work so well actually. I’m all in for this. (More Bolin time wouldn’t hurt either.)
